​Log from Practicum Level 1

This log was done in the first level of my student internship also known as practicum. During the first semester students are simply instructed to observe their mentor interpreter, take notes on observed work, and explain what strategies would be used if the student was interpreting. My notes and comments are on the left side, another student who reviews and commented on my notes is on the right side. 

THIS IS A COMPILATION OF SAMPLE OF WRITTEN WORK DURING THE TIME I ATTENDED MY INTERPRETER TRAINING PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA.

Log from Practicum Level 3

This log was written during my third and final semester of practicum. During this semester I worked with a certified mentor interpreter in high school setting. I would attend classes one day a week at this site and team interpret with my mentor. Most of this log includes my personal self-analysis of the work I performed.

This log was written in the second semester of the practicum experience during my interpreter training program. Students select partners and each pair is assigned to a specific school. Each week the pair attends classes at the school and interpret to each other. My partner's name was Liz.
